This week in Geometry and Statistics Classes

Today we learn how to make a list in the graphing calculator to simplify human errors and utilize technology to understand mean, median, range and mode.

Here are some proofs that will be found on a future quiz or test.

Properties of Quadrilaterals (Parallelograms)

There are four to five main properties of parallelograms: opposite sides of parallel, opposite sides are congruent, opposite angles are congruent, SSIA are supplementary, and diagonals bisect each other.

Here is a review problem for the retake of the Chapter 7/8 Test (for some next week).

The Geometry test on Friday, March 9, 2018

The test will cover Exterior Angle Theorem, Polygon Angle Sum Theorem, Isosceles Triangles, Equilateral Triangles, Triangle Inequalities, Circumcenter, Incenter, Centroid and Orthocenter. Hopefully, I will post student work from now until Thursday.

A Problem ...

Follow the order from 1 to 6. Part 6 states that BC doesn't have enough information to find it's length is based on that fact that triangle BEZ and triangle CEZ are congruent by SAS, yet only BZ and ZC have values BE and EC are congruent, with no lengths.
