Algebra Mid Term Review

Thursday, January 21, 2016

Less than a Week before MidTerms!!

In Honors Geometry, we talked about C E C again. We also discussed that there are many ways to solve a proof, remember the first line is given and the last line is what has to be proven.

In Algebra, we discussed formulas and solving word problems with consecutive integers.

Can you figure these out?

CEC in Honors Geometry this week!

C-E-C stands for Claim Evidence Connect. It is the new teaching graphic organizer that Clintondale Community Schools is utilizing in preparation for the Junior year state wide assessments.

For extra credit, can you prove that the angles of a quadrilateral adds up to 360 degrees? Show the work and turn it in before your final!

In Algebra Class, we are CEC to figure about an Algebraic problem related to live, ten years from now.

The extra credit that was mentioned previously is, if the width of the land were x ft instead of 60 ft what values of x would make the expression not valid for the cost of the land?
