In Algebra, we will practice translating algebraic expressions into English expressions, translating English expressions into algebraic expressions, order of operations, and creating graphs of distance vs time or speed vs time.
Here are the answers from today in Algebra Class.
Below are some additional problems to try for extra practice.
For the Honors Geometry Class, here are some additional practice homework problems to try. Bring them to class completed, if you have questions about something.
On the quiz will be measuring distance on a number line and a coordinate plane. Most people didn't have an issue with angle stuff. If at least 75% percent of the class does this assignment tonight, there will not be any angle stuff on the quiz and no quiz next week.
1) On a number line, A = -9, B = -6, C = -5, D = -2, E = 1, F = 5, and G = 6. Find AE, EC, and CA.
2) If B is between A and C, find the value of x and the measure of BC.
AB = 3x + 21, BC = 2x -6, and AC = 50
3) Using the Pythagorean Theorem or Distance Formula, solve for AB and BE.
